What functions are available to manipulate and project 3D geometry?
To transform flat drawings into three-dimensional models, the software offers the Extrude Entities command, which allows projecting polylines in a specific direction or against a projection plane, generating new lines or 3D faces. For precise height adjustment, the Raise tool allows assigning Z values to vertices based on the nearest reference element.
Other advanced utilities include Flatten Entities, ideal for creating plan views by assigning a Constant Height to all vertices, and Rectify Polylines, which automatically adjusts vertices to the Top or bottom point of the cloud within a specified radius. Likewise, the Smooth Polyline command allows converting polygonal traces into smoothed polylines similar to splines through interpolation.
