3.3 SOFTWARE KEY (AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION)

If you received a product key via email, you can activate the license when you first start MDT.

Follow these steps:

Copy the activation code to the clipboard.
Run MDT. If the license is not detected, an activation window will appear.
Enter the same username (email) and password with which you enter the Aplitop website.
Select the "New License" option.
Paste the saved activation code to the clipboard in the "Code" field.
Press the "Activate" button and wait to receive the successful activation message.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

An Internet connection is required to activate the license.

Network requirement: in addition to the Internet connection, the computer must be able to connect to Aplitop's license server https://licenses.aplitop.com on port 443 (TCP/HTTPS).

This connection is essential to register or activate a standalone (single-seat) license (LDK software key) for the first time, and to transfer a license, both on the computer releasing it and on the computer receiving it.

The domain, Active Directory policies (GPO), the perimeter or local firewall, the proxy server and any SSL inspection systems must explicitly allow this outbound connection on every computer involved.

This requirement does not apply to network licenses managed by a license server. If your IT department cannot authorize this outbound connection, use the offline activation method described in 3.5 SOFTWARE KEY (OFFLINE ACTIVATION) - MDT25.
