What geographic coordinate formats does the program support?

Updated on tcpMDT

TcpMDT is very flexible in the input and output of geographic coordinates, supporting formats such as:

  • Degrees/Minutes/Seconds (e.g., 36 40 34.56 N).

  • +/- Degrees/Minutes/Seconds (e.g., -4 25 12.34).

  • +/- Decimal Degrees (e.g., -2.23541). Additionally, it allows you to configure separators such as spaces, slashes, or colons.

The default format can be set in the Surveying Configuration.
