Which versions of tcpMDT are compatible with each other?
TcpMDT is available in several versions that can coexist on the same computer without interfering with each other.
MDT9, MDT25 and MDT26 can coexist
All three versions are installed independently as plugins for your CAD program. You can have multiple versions installed simultaneously without any conflicts.
Combination | Compatibility |
|---|---|
MDT9 + MDT25 | ✅ Can coexist |
MDT9 + MDT26 | ✅ Can coexist |
MDT25 + MDT26 | ✅ Can coexist |
MDT9 + MDT25 + MDT26 | ✅ Can coexist |
When is it necessary to uninstall?
Uninstalling is only required when you want to install or update the same version. If you already have a version installed and want to update it, you must first completely uninstall the current installation of that version.
Example: If you have MDT26 installed and want to update to a new version of MDT26, you must first completely uninstall the current MDT26 installation before proceeding.
The downloads area lists updates for several versions: which one do I install?
The downloads area may list the updates of different versions at the same time (for example, TCP MDT 9 and tcpMDT 25). They are not the same update: each one applies only to its own version, because they are independent programs and not updates of one another.
Download and install the update of the version you have installed and want to bring up to date. If you have several versions on the computer and want to keep them all updated, download the update for each one.
