How to add BCF issues?
To add BCF issues (BIM Collaboration Format) in tcpGPS, you must have the Professional (or Advanced) LICENSE of the application. This process allows you to record problems or Remarks detected directly in the field for subsequent management in the office.
Below are the steps and REQUIREMENTS to create them:
Procedure to add an issue
Access from field work: You must be on the Survey, SETTING OUT LINES or Road Setting Out screens.
Code the tool: Press the button with the triquetra (triple knot) icon to open the BCF issue creation dialog.
Fill in the mandatory fields:
Title: Mandatory Identifier for the issue.
Image: This is a mandatory requirement. You can capture it at the moment with the Device camera or SELECT it from the gallery. If you tap the image in the dialog, it will enlarge for better viewing.
Information Configuration (Additional Fields)
In the same dialog, you can categorize the issue with the following Values:
Type: Classify the Check as issue, request, query, Comment or missing item.
Status: Define if the task is Open, in progress, Closed, re-opened or active.
Priority: Set the urgency between critical, high, normal or low.
Description: Optional field to detail the detected problem.
Automatically generated data
The application automatically records the following control data:
Date and time: The exact moment of creation.
Author: The email of the license user operating the software is automatically assigned.
