How is tcpMDT integrated with Google Earth and GPS formats?
The software offers specific tools for global visualization:
Export to KML/KMZ: Allows you to transfer points, bases, surfaces, layers, and plots to Google Earth.
Import KML/KMZ: Performs the reverse process, drawing the content (points, lines, or 3D faces) from Google Earth files in the CAD.
Center Google Earth: This command opens the Google Earth application and automatically moves it to the area represented by the current CAD drawing.
Import GPX: Allows you to represent GPS exchange files, converting waypoints into MDT points and routes into polylines.
Google Street View: Allows the user to position themselves at a point and display the selected location in a web viewer with Google Street View, where we can see both the traditional map view and the 3D view.
