What types of analysis maps can tcpMDT generate?
TcpMDT allows you to generate various thematic maps from a surface or grid, useful for terrain analysis:
Height Map: Represents the terrain by assigning colors according to the elevation of the cells.
Slope Map: Assigns colors to the triangles of the surface according to their inclination, allowing analysis of specific directions (North-South, East-West, etc.).
Slope Direction Map: Classifies the terrain according to the orientation of the slope with respect to the cardinal points.
Shade Map: Creates an image showing shaded areas based on a specific date, time, and geographic location.
Visibility Map: Determines the areas visible from one or more observation points.
Roughness Map: Shows the variations and irregularities of the elevation on the surface.
Slope Arrow Map: Draws arrows on each triangle indicating the direction of maximum slope (towards the lowest vertex).
