How are contour lines generated from a digital model?

To generate contour lines in Tcp PointCloud Editor, it is essential to have a digital model in the project that serves as the basis for the calculation.

Once the model (mesh or surface) is selected in the Project Panel, you must run the Create Contours command. In the configuration dialog, the user sets the initial and final elevations, the intervals for minor contours and major contours, as well as the smoothing factor to improve the visual aesthetics of the layout.

The resulting contouring is incorporated into the project as a new independent element, facilitating its management and subsequent export to standard drawing formats such as DWG or DXF for plan production.
