What types of visual representations and thematic maps can be obtained from the models?
Once the model is created as a mesh, the software offers powerful symbology tools that allow you to create detailed thematic maps for your analysis. These representations are configured using customizable color palettes that assign specific shades according to the terrain value ranges.
Specifically, meshes (DEM) have advanced visualization options that allow them to be represented by the following criteria:
By Elevation: Creates altitude maps using color gradations to represent the different elevations of the project.
By Slope: Generates a visual analysis of terrain inclinations, classifying areas according to their degree of slope.
By Slope Direction (Aspect): Shows the orientation of slopes, allowing you to quickly identify which way the slopes face (North, South, East, West, etc.).
By Orthophoto (Texture): Allows you to project a georeferenced image onto the model to obtain a photorealistic representation of the terrain.
In addition to these thematic maps, it is possible to visualize the models in different modes: edges only, faces only, or both simultaneously. To improve the perception of relief in the 3D viewer, you can activate the Lighting effect and overlay the contour lines generated from the model to complete the cartographic presentation.
