How are volume calculations performed between digital models?

For Platform Elevation measurement, the Volume by Models Difference command allows comparing two terrain states (for example, original vs. new project). The system automatically calculates the total volume of cut slopes and fill, generating a detailed report and graphically representing the affected areas in the viewer.

In addition to model comparison, there is the Volume by Stockpile command, designed to quickly calculate the volume of materials accumulated on a flat surface or a defined boundary. Both methods allow applying swell or compaction factors and considering the topsoil thickness.
