How is the import of orthophotos performed and what can they be used for in the project?

The incorporation of aerial images is carried out using the Import Orthophoto command, which allows loading multiple files simultaneously. During this process, the user can specify a Projected factor to resample the image and adjust the coordinate limits if necessary.

These orthophotos have multiple practical applications, such as serving as a visual base for the project or being used to texture digital models (meshes and surfaces). Likewise, it is possible to use a georeferenced orthophoto to COLORIZE POINT CLOUDS that originally lack RGB attributes, provided there is overlap between both data sets.
