What is the Raster Editor and what utilities does it offer for technical drawing?
The Raster Editor is a specialized tool designed to draw plan views on images generated from the point cloud. This editor allows you to set a specific height band (lower and upper elevation) to generate a raster image of a section of the building or terrain.
One of its most powerful features is the vectorization group, where you can define vertical density thresholds and minimum lengths to automatically detect wall segments or boundaries. The user can load and save drawing layers directly from this environment, facilitating the export of the delineation to external CAD applications.
