How are panoramic images from terrestrial scanners managed?

Updated on tcp PointCloud Editor Leer en español

The software allows incorporating 360-degree photographs using the Import E57 Images or Import LGSx Images commands. Additionally, the system offers a set of Import SLAM commands to manage routes and images from mobile sensors.

To work with fixed scanner data, the program includes a Panoramic Image Viewer that synchronizes in real time with the main 3D viewer. From this special viewer, it is possible to perform distance and area measurements directly on the photograph, as well as draw 3D polylines leveraging the depth of the associated Point Cloud.

On the other hand, when the project contains data from mobile sensors, the SLAM ROUTE VIEWER facilitates navigation through a 2D schematic of the route. This viewer allows you to select individual images from the trajectory and orient the view using the keyboard and mouse for detailed inspection.
