What is an axis in MDT and what information does it contain?

Updated on tcpMDT Leer en español

An axis is an entity that represents the ground plan layout of a linear work. It is composed of Critical Sections (VERTEX) that store fundamental analytical information: kilometer point (PK), X and Y Coordinates, Azimuth, Radius, Yellow:, and Length. Although it is represented as a polyline, MDT associates all its geometric information with this entity for subsequent calculations.
