How do I upgrade a DEMO license to a BASIC or PRO license?
To upgrade a DEMO license to a FULL LICENSE (BASIC or PRO) in TcpGPS, it is not necessary to reinstall the application; you can make the change directly by entering an activation code.
There are two main methods to carry out this update:
Online Activation (Recommended Method)
If you have a demo license and enter the application again, a notification screen will appear allowing you to activate a full license. The steps are:
Obtain the code: If you do not have it yet, select the Buy option to be redirected to the Aplitop website and request a quote for the Basic or Professional version.
Select Online Activation: On the license options screen, choose Online activation and click Accept.
Enter the code: Type the 12-character alphanumeric code you purchased and click Activate.
Confirmation: The application will contact the license server. If correct, the message "Your license has been successfully activated. Enjoy TcpGPS!" will appear. Click Continue to start working without limitations.
This process can also be performed from the license screen, (Menu > Application > License)
Important note: Regardless of the type of license you activate, remember that you must Release license (Menu > Application > License > Release license) if in the future you wish to transfer it to another device or before uninstalling the application.
