11.13 Configuration

In this section we will configure a series of parameters necessary for the construction of the structures as well as the generation of the final land.

Configuration - PV25

Surface Contact Distance: It is the cutting distance of the modified terrain with the initial terrain or surface, this parameter is important since it influences the calculation of the final earth movements.

In the following image you can see what this parameter refers to.

Configuration - PV25 (2)

On the left is the cutting distance from the projection of the north pole to the natural terrain.

On the right is the cut-off distance of the projection of the southern end of the plate with the natural terrain.

Discretize representation. Interval: With this interval we establish the interval of analysis and representation of each row of Fixed Structures.

The software by default analyzes the outstanding stations, i.e. the start and end of each Fixed Table and the position of the supports.

By entering an interval we get an elevation representation of the Fixed Structures with more detail and increase the precision in the calculation of the volume by analyzing a greater number of vertices, however, with the highlights the calculation is optimal.
