What is a "slope" at a node and what is it used for?

Updated on tcpMDT Leer en español

The slope defines a Difference of Cota between the inlet and outlet of a section in the same manhole. It is a fundamental tool to Console pipes at different Heights or to perform specific Slope SETTINGS without moving the Grade line of the manhole.

To define it, you need to Edit the node of the corresponding section, On ground plan or Front. For this purpose, there is the Field “Slope” where the Difference of Cota is entered.
