When drawing cross-sections, can I configure a data band for each cut?
Yes, when drawing cross sections in TcpMDT, it is possible to activate and configure a data band (or data strip) that will appear at the bottom of each cut represented in the matrix.
The key aspects of this configuration are detailed below:
Activation and Available Elements
The configuration is performed from the DRAW CROSS SECTIONS dialog box (specific for cross-sections), within the tab or section dedicated to the Data Band. Depending on whether you are drawing Stockpile Selection or a segment (Fill seat), the elements that can be included are:
Distance to Axis: Shows the horizontal distance of each point with respect to the central axis.
Ground Elevations: Labels the elevations of the Stockpile Selection at each vertex of the cross section.
Grade Elevations: Shows the elevations of the grade line (available only if a segment file is used).
Red Levels: Represents the Difference of Cota between the ground and the grade line.
Codes: Labels the codes associated with the profile vertices.
Visual Customization
The program allows you to adjust the aesthetic appearance of these data bands for each profile:
Text Color: You can customize the color used to represent the Numerical data lines.
Reference Lines: There is an option to draw lines that extend the marks of the profile vertices to the comparison plane of the data band, facilitating visual reading.
Text Style: It is possible to select CAD Texts styles and define their height to ensure legibility according to the scale.
Alternative: "Details" Button
In addition to the data band itself, the drawing dialog has a Details button that allows you to configure the labeling of additional data that may appear next to each profile in the matrix, such as:
Numbering and Stationing: Correlative identification and station of the cut.
Surfaces and Volumes: Calculation of cut, fill, and Topsoil Accumulated up to that profile.
Grid: Indicates the inclination of each segment of the cross section polyline.
Superelevation: Labels the superelevation values applied to the left and right at that specific point.
In summary, the data band configuration is defined for the entire drawing matrix, but is applied individually to each of the cuts that make up the final representation.
