To ensure optimal performance of Tcp PointCloud Editor, it is necessary to meet a series of technical specifications that vary depending on the complexity of the projects and the tools you wish to use.

Operating System and Processor The software requires a 64-bit environment, compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. Regarding the processing unit, a minimum requirement is an Intel i5 processor or higher.

RAM Memory The minimum physical memory for the correct functioning of the program is 16 GB. However, for classification processes with Artificial Intelligence, processing capacity is directly linked to the available RAM. It is suggested to follow a memory scale based on data volume: 16 GB for 50 million points, 32 GB for 100 million, 64 GB for 200 million, and up to 512 GB for massive projects of 1.6 billion points.

Storage To avoid performance issues and slowness in operations, the use of SSD or NVMe drives is recommended for storing projects on which you are actively working.

Graphics Card (GPU) For data visualization and rendering, the system must have a card compatible with OpenGL 4.0 or higher. The minimum resolution specifications are 1280 x 1024 pixels, although a resolution of 1920 x 1080 is recommended. The minimum dedicated video memory (VRAM) must be 2 GB, with the recommended value being 4 GB or more.
