How to prevent the application from restarting when rotating the screen?

Due to changes in Android 16, TcpGPS no longer has control over the application's orientation.

To prevent data loss or warnings due to application rotation while performing any type of procedure when using the application, it is important that automatic screen rotation is not allowed on your Android device.

To prevent orientation changes (automatic rotation) on most Android devices:

Lock rotation

The simplest way:

• Swipe down the quick settings panel.

• Look for the “Auto-rotate” or “Automatic rotation” button.

• Deactivate it (it will be locked in vertical or horizontal mode).

You can also go to:

• SETTINGS → Display → Auto-rotate → disable.
