How is "noise" or isolated point cleaning performed in the point cloud?
To eliminate imperfections, the Selection by Isolation command is essential. This algorithm analyzes the neighborhood of each point and selects those that do not have a minimum number of neighbors within a defined search radius. It is the ideal tool for clearing spurious points generated by reflections or sensor errors.
Additionally, Selection by Density allows you to apply changes to clouds with an excessive or heterogeneous concentration of points. This tool selects points based on their distance to neighbors, allowing you to delete redundant points in the densest zones to homogenize the cloud and reduce the project size.
