How is the segment integrated into a BIM workflow?

The segment is the base unit for IFC export. When exporting a segment, the resulting BIM model includes not only the geometry of the alignment and widenings, but also the roadbed layers (as 3D solids), ditches, and signage, preserving their properties and materials.
