How is the volume between two surfaces calculated?

There are two main methods:

• Mesh/Surface Difference: Compares two files (meshes or surfaces) by overlaying them. The volume of each cell is calculated based on the difference in average elevation.

• Cross-Section Difference: Using the same alignment, cross-sections are first obtained from both surfaces. The volume is determined by comparing the two cross-section files.
