How are earthwork volumes calculated by plots?

There is a specific command (CALCULATING VOLUMES BY PLOTS) that compares two surfaces (Initial and Final) and generates a List with Cut Slopes and embankment calculated individually for each PLOT S defined in the DRAWING.
