How can I generate a report of the plots I have defined?
To generate detailed information about the plots you have defined in TcpMDT, you have three main tools depending on the format and level of detail you need:
Command "List" (Quick summary)
This command displays a list on screen with the basic data of all plots in the drawing.
Information included: Identifier, reference, owner, and area.
Additional functions: Allows you to select a plot from the list and click Plot Report so that the program zooms in on it, or click Print to send the list to the printer or to a file.
Command "Other Constructions" (Formal document)
This is the ideal option if you need a detailed and professional document, as it generates a separate page for each selected plot.
Properties to configure: You can choose to display the name, reference, owner, surface (area), and perimeter in the header of each page.
Vertex details: The report can include a list with the vertex number (or corresponding MDT point), the length of each side, and the internal angle at each vertex.
Output: Once configured, the report can be sent directly to the printer or exported to other digital formats.
Command "Label" (Table within the drawing)
If you wish to insert the information directly into your CAD plan, this command creates an informational table.
Table content: You can include the vertex numbers, side lengths, interior and exterior angles, X,Y coordinates, and the code of the associated MDT point.
Insertion: The program prompts you to designate the plot and then an insertion point to place the top-left corner of the table in the drawing.
Additionally, if you work with the Volumes module, you can generate a specific report called CALCULATING VOLUMES BY PLOTS, which compares two surfaces and details the cut and fill calculated individually for each of the defined plots.
