What is the main function of the Topography module in MDT?

The Topography module is specifically designed for the processing of field data from total stations.

Its main function is to calculate coordinates and uncertainties of stations and points from direct observations of angles and distances.

Unlike GNSS data, whose coordinates are usually already resolved by the receiver equipment, this module allows for the advanced adjustment of networks and traverses using methods such as least squares, enabling error compensation and precise orientation of occupation points.
