How are field data imported?

To process external data, use the command Surveying > Import, which supports a list of formats from various total station manufacturers (Topcon, Leica Geosystems, Trimble, Sokkia, Spectra, etc.) and electronic field books to convert them to the native .LEV format. In addition to these device-specific formats, the program allows the import of files in standard formats, such as:

• Text (ASCII): Coordinate files with extensions like .TXT or .PUN that use spaces, commas, or tabs as separators.

• Excel: Through compatibility with comma-separated values files (CSV).

• LandXML: For the integration of points, surfaces, alignments, and pipe networks under this data exchange standard.

During import, the user can configure filters to automatically distinguish between station observations and detail points based on codes, prefixes, or numeric intervals.
