Can observations between stations be drawn?
Yes, in MDT it is possible to draw the observations (or readings) between stations to graphically visualize the survey structure.
This functionality can be executed in two main ways:
Through the dropdown menu Survey > Drawing > Draw Station Observations.
By pressing the Draw Stations button within the Station Calculation dialog.
Characteristics of the graphical representation:
Direction of the observations: The program draws lines between the stations with one or two arrows at their ends to identify if the observation is forward or forward and back (reciprocal).
Color code by observation type:
◦ Red: For complete forward observations.
◦ Yellow: For complete forward and back observations.
◦ Blue (with dashed line): For angular observations.
This representation allows you to verify at a glance the connectivity of the survey network and the type of data captured in each section.
