How can points created in the CAD by another application be converted to MDT points?

To do this, you must run the command Points > Convert Polyline Vertices.

Once in the dialog, you must select the point type and the layers where each of the point attributes are located, that is, the point, the layer, and the code. Objects such as simple points, circles, arcs, texts, crosses, polylines, Indeterminate., and even blocks are recognized.

When the data has been correctly completed, the dialog is validated and MDT will automatically insert a point for each object of this type existing in the drawing.
