Can points be exported to other formats?

Updated on tcpMDT Leer en español

Yes, MDT allows EXPORT POINTS flexibly to various formats to ensure interoperability with other systems. The user can choose between three main alternatives:

  • Generic Formats: Allows exporting in standard structures such as NXYZ, XYZ, XY, among others, allowing you to Configure the field separator character (Space, Comma or Tab) and the decimal separator.

  • Manufacturer Formats: Specific formats established by different programs and electronic field books.

It is also possible to export to GIS formats such as ESRI Shapefile (*.SHP), GML and GEOJSON.

Likewise, export to KML/KMZ files for viewing in Google Earth and to the LandXML format is supported.
