How are GPS attributes associated with points displayed?
To view the GPS attributes associated with points in MDT, there are mainly two methods: through the general POINT REPORT or by editing each Object individually.
Viewing via Label Points
This method allows you to view data for multiple points simultaneously in a tabular format:
You must execute the command Points > Label Points.
Within the report window, click the Name button located at the bottom.
When activated, the program will automatically add columns with additional GPS information, such as Date and time, position type, latitude, Length, Floating, and number of satellites.
If the points have assigned uncertainties (estimated precision), the uncertainty columns for Coordinates X, Y, and Z will also appear automatically.
Viewing via Move
If you wish to View detailed information for a single point:
Use the command Points > Move and select the desired point in Other.
In the Max. Dist. between Vertices and Points dialog, look for the section called Observation.
In this section, the original data from the GPS point reading will appear.
Likewise, the Name section of this dialog allows you to WATCH other user-defined data or additional metadata.
REQUIREMENTS for viewing
For this data to be available, the following conditions must be met:
Object Type: The points must be configured as MDT points (native program objects) and not as blocks with attributes, since only the former can store these additional observation data.
RAW DATA Import: When you Import, the GNSS receiver RAW DATA file (generated by applications like TcpGPS) must be located in the same folder as the Coordinates file so that MDT can automatically read and integrate the attributes
