What are point levels used for?

Updated on tcpMDT Leer en español

Levels are used to classify points based on their type, allowing us to determine their inclusion in the digital elevation model as well as their visibility. By default, the following levels exist: 0 (Default), 1 (Fill), 2 (Breakline), 3 (Information), and 4 (Setting Out Lines).

In the code database, the equivalence of each point code to its level is specified. During point importation, you can check the Assign Codes from Polylines box to assign them automatically.
