Create layer in CAD
Creates a new layer in the CAD drawing with the specified name, color and line type. If the layer already exists, it reports this without producing any error or modifying the existing layer.
Prerequisites: There must be an active drawing open in CAD. The MDT plugin does not need to be loaded.

Result
Confirmation that the layer has been created or that it already existed. No existing entities are modified.
Tip: Create the required layers before drawing entities to keep the drawing organised. This is useful as a preliminary step before Draw breakline by code or Generate contour lines.
